A back-to-school celebration and book giveaway is being held in Yonkers this weekend for both students and educators.

A back-to-school celebration and book giveaway is being held
in Yonkers this weekend for both students and educators.
The event is sponsored by the Yonkers Federation of Teachers
and begins at noon Saturday at the Police Athletic League, 127 N.
Broadway.
Not only can students, parents, guardians and families
choose up to five free books per child, but educators can choose from up
to 30 books for classrooms and programs.
Giveaways, food, games and voter registration assistance
will also be onsite.
