Thousands will take part in the Jingle Bell Jog on Saturday, and today some of the youngest joggers got the chance to meet the borough president.
The children, who are joining about 800 other children in the Road Runners' Jingle Bell Jog, spent the day at Borough Hall with Borough President Eric Adams.
The children are all from M.S. 340 in Prospect Heights and have been involved with New York Road Runners for three years.
The students and Borough President Adams exchanged tips and advice about fitness and health.
"If you start the race right, you’ll end it right and the best way to do it is to be healthy," says Adams.
There is still time to sign up for Saturday's run in Prospect Park.
