Police say a puppy that was stolen during an armed robbery was returned to its rightful owner over the weekend.
The husky was stolen by three armed individuals after a failed attempt to steal the owner’s car on Carrie Street and Hollister Avenue.
When the thieves couldn’t start the car, they hit the man on the head with a gun. Then they took off with two cellphones, cash, and his puppy.
The woman who found the dog recognized it from the original News 12 report on the crime.
