After a very warm, summer-like day Friday, that fall feel will sneak back in here for the weekend. Look for a few showers moving through the borough this evening. They are out ahead of a cold front that will swing through tonight. A few localized downpours are possible as winds change direction and usher in cooler and drier air.
Temperatures heading into Saturday will be slightly cooler, with upper 50s and lower 60s. The sun will return and temperatures in the afternoon will climb to a comfortable 70 degrees.
Rain may now return for Sunday. A wave of low pressure will develop and move along the cold front that comes through tonight. There is some uncertainty with the placement and how far north the rain will go. Be prepared for a cloudy sky with some on-and-off showers Sunday afternoon. Temperatures will be a lot cooler, with highs only in the 60s. It gets even colder early next week. Jackets and sweaters will be needed for Tuesday and Wednesday.
