After another day with high temperatures encouraging snowmelt (and more snow), we need to watch out for black ice and slippery spots as temperatures dip around freezing for the overnight hours.
This will be the theme for the next several days - melting during the day, refreezing chances at night. Watch for slippery spots on your morning commutes. Our next storm system is trending south, likely bringing clouds and the chance of a few flurries Thursday night into early Friday. After that system moves out, the remainder of Friday is nice. We have some solid chances of snow melting ahead as temperatures remain above or near 40 through Sunday.
A cold front will bring a chance of snow on Sunday morning. As of now, this looks like a low-impact event with a few light snow showers. Our next potential storm threat is Monday into Tuesday. This will need to be monitored closely, as this is looking like it could bring measurable and impactful snow.
