It was a bright and blustery start to the weekend. Winds kicked it up a notch with guts in the upper 30s earlier this afternoon.
Highs were at or around 50 through the boroughs. Clouds fill in overnight not giving much way for sun to round out the weekend, and temps will be cooler. The feel might still seem the same because we get a break from the winds.
Strong thunderstorms are possible Monday afternoon and evening. Storms may contain strong winds over 40 miles per hour. 1-2" of rain is possible in heavy downpours.
Much colder weather for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the 30s and 40s for many under partly sunny skies.
