Residents were in for a treat for Bronx Week as Saturday marked the debut of the Bronx Night Market during the event.
Bronx Week is a celebration of culture, cusine, and creations within the community.
Eventgoers on East 161 Street and the Grand Concourse were able to feast their eyes and stomachs on the all of the vibrant flavors that make up the Boogie Down.
"People want events in their neighborhood. They want to be able to walk out of their apartment building and feel like they'll bump into their neighbors, they'll hang out with their friends, they get good food," said Sean Fahey, Bronx Night Market event producer.
The Bronx Night Market runs on the second Saturday of every month.
