A shootout at Club Heat early Sunday morning has left one woman dead and a man recovering in the hospital.
Police responded to a 911 call at around 4 a.m. Sunday morning at Club Heat, located at 405 Hunts Point Ave.
Monique Rodriguez, 33, was found with a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second victim, a 28-year-old man, was shot in the arm and fled the scene, according to officials, and police say he sought treatment from a parked ambulance, which then took him to Lincoln Hospital. He is now in stable condition.
Policy say they have not yet made any arrests.
