A Brooklyn artist created a mural to celebrate the culture of the Bronx in Mount Hope.
Mason Eve's mural shows a group of friends coming together with the city skyline and food cart in the background.
The artwork also blends a mixture of bright colors, something that the artist says is meant to bring hope to viewers.
"My work in general is super vibrant," Eve says. "I love bringing joy and as someone who tends to really gravitate toward these colors. They can change my mood."
She says she hopes that people driving or walking by will feel a little bit better after seeing her art.
The mural is on the corner of Webster Avenue and East 175th Street.
