New York City is known for the hustle and the bustle, but there's a place close to home at Brooklyn Bridge Park that stops the ticking clock of the New York minute.
Brooklyn Bridge Park offers waterfront opportunities with access to fresh air and wellness.
The waterfront may be the park's main attraction, but it has a lot more to offer.
“Several of our fitness programs have come back, yoga, Pilates, other fitness offerings that we're able to do five days a week,” says Eveline Chang-Fritsch, director of programs at Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Additionally, on Wednesday and Saturdays, the park has partnered with the Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse to offer free kayaking. Some who participate calling it a one-of-a-kind experience.
“It's magical, you get out on a kayak, you see the cites skyline, you see birds. I never would have seen growing up in Brooklyn,” says Karen Thomson, vice president of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse.
