Commuters heading out for the day Wednesday were doing their best to keep moving and keep warm. However, everyone should take it slow as roads and sidewalks are a bit slippery.
The city is urging residents to report any loss of heat or hot water immediately, and to never use a gas stove for warmth. Remember to check on neighbors and loved ones who may be having difficulty with the cold.
Those who are driving should also make sure to check washer fluid works in cold weather.
Temperatures have been on a downward spiral this week, with gusts of wind making it feel like it's in the teens or single digits. Thursday is expected to be the coldest morning yet.
