Hundreds of Brooklyn clergy and community members are heading to the nation's capital to pray for peace. 

Rev. Terry Lee is organizing the group of about 300 people, who will all participate in a large prayer on the White House lawn in Washington, D.C. Saturday in hope of spreading a message of anti-violence. 

The group has been making the annual prayer trip for the past 16 years; however, they say this year is especially important because of the violent protests taking place across the country over police-community relations. 

Many of the same people also gathered in East Flatbush Friday to show solidarity for those who are peacefully protesting in Baltimore.
