Brooklyn group fights against bus bunching
A local organization is looking to stop bus bunching in the borough.
Bus bunching is when multiple buses arrive at a bus stop at the same time, and the Straphangers Advocacy Group says it's time to stop.
The group says neighborhoods in East New York have the worst bus bunching problems. Some riders say they wait for up to an hour for buses that should arrive every 15 minutes.  And then once a bus comes, others directly follow.
The group has reached out to the MTA with a  proposal on tackling the issue of bus bunching and hopes to hear back from them soon.
