Hospitals in Brooklyn are taking precautions with their staff to make sure they will be ready for a patient with Ebola.
Dr. Pradeep Chandra at Interfaith Medical Center says the hospital is fully equipped with proper supplies. The hospital has prepared steps to take with an Ebola patient, including isolating the patient and then consulting infection control. If the patient does have Ebola, Chandra says they would be transferred to a bigger facility with more expertise.
Interfaith is holding mandatory Ebola training sessions each day for staff members.
