Religious leaders in Brooklyn spoke out Monday against recent violence targeting the borough's religious communities.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, Assemblyman Dov Hikind and leaders from the Jewish, Christian and Muslim communities came together in Crown Heights to denounce recent attacks.

Some of the violent acts include a suspected knockout game assault on a Jewish resident in Crown Heights, a possible arson of an East Flatbush church and attacks against Muslims in Bay Ridge and Midwood during Ramadan services.

Earlier this month, 60-year-old Rabbi Joseph Raksin, of Brooklyn, was shot and killed in Miami while he was on his way to temple. Police believe it happened as the result of a botched robbery, but others argue the rabbi was the victim of a hate crime.

The religious and political leaders marched down to the rabbi's Brooklyn home to place a memorial in his honor.
