A Brooklyn man has been exonerated after spending 18 years behind bars for a murder he says he did not commit.

The courtroom erupted in applause as the Brooklyn district attorney's office dismissed all charges against Sundhe Moses in connection with the 1995 shooting death of a 4-year-old girl. He was 19 years old during his first trial.

The DA's office declined to retry the case a month after a judge overturned Moses' murder conviction.

Moses was freed from jail four years ago and has been trying to clear his name ever since.

Now, Moses says he'll be keeping a close eye on the sweeping investigation into Louis Scarcella, the NYPD detective he accuses of coercing his confession.
