Former Democratic leader Clarence Norman was found guilty of grand larceny and one count of attempted grand larceny and coercion Friday stemming from a campaign scandal. The verdict is the result of Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes? investigation into the selling of judgeships by Norman and other party leaders. Prosecutors say Norman schemed to solicit and pocket campaign contributions. The jury acquitted Norman of five other counts.Norman faces up to seven years in prison. He was found guilty in previous trials of stealing thousands of dollars donated to his election campaigns.
