After a slow day and a lot of snow on Monday, restaurants in Brooklyn were back to takeout orders Tuesday.
Footprints Cafe in Flatbush said customers were coming in because some restaurants remained closed.
The owner, Robert Gordon, says he picked up local workers Tuesday and even offered to take them home. The restaurant has two locations. Gordon says the Coney Island and East Flatbush locations have outdoor dining, but that it became too much of a hassle to maintain.
The restaurant says it is looking forward to indoor dining returning in less than two weeks.
