After more than 70 years in Brooklyn, the makers of Sweet'N Low will be shutting down its factory.
The 300 people who will lose their jobs at the factory rallied to stop the closure.
Workers say they feel hurt because they put in a lot of time and effort into the company. They feel the company has taken advantage of the workforce and blindsided them with the closure.
Cumberland Packing Corporation told workers last week that it would start letting people go. The company will be outsourcing its operations to stay competitive with rivals.
The company also said it would work with employees to help them find new jobs.
