The teen convicted of murdering another teen over an iPod was sentenced to 22 years to life Monday.
Darren Samuel, was convicted of murder in the death of Christopher Rose last July. He is said to have instigated the fight that led to the Rose's murder. Before his sentence was read, Samuel apologized for what happened. Rose's mother says she feels sympathy for Samuel's family.
Meantime, deliberations are underway for Samuel's cousin, Aaron Farrell, who is also charged with murder in the case. If convicted, Farrell faces up to 25 years behind bars.
