Brooklyn tenant claims landlord repeatedly shut off gas, hot water

The Brooklyn community rallied Wednesday in support of a building tenant who is calling for the removal of her landlord.
It comes after Joyce Webster says the landlord has repeatedly turned off her gas and hot water.
The Crown Heights Tenants Union joined Webster at the apartment building near Nostrand Avenue and demanded justice.
Webster says she has been forced to live with spotty water and other issues for the past few years.
She says when she called 311 on Sunday, her landlord called the police on her and she ended up in jail for allegedly threatening him.
Her landlord, Everton Pierre, says he has received threats from Webster on multiple occasions.
A video taken by the landlord was shown to News 12. It shows the moments when Pierre says Webster is threatening to create city violations in order to get her landlord out.
