The Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition in Red Hook has reopened for the second time since the COVID-19 pandemic, after shutting down for the winter.
Three exhibitions will run until June 20, and BWAC co-president Alicia Degener said they have activities planned up until the fall.
"We've been here 43 years, so it's just great to all of the people that work here are all volunteer artists, so people can interact with that and ask artists questions and that kind of thing," Degener said.
The Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition is the borough's largest organization run by artists.
Degener mentioned that they are fortunate that they have a large space, but because of the pandemic, they limit the amount of people that come in.
Other than art exhibits, visitors can also take classes like candle making and figure drawing.
