Bushwick residents rallied Sunday to protest the changes to a local bus route.
"We feel the MTA is bullying the residents of this area," one protester said.
The MTA has rerouted the B26 and Q58 buses through a series of residential streets, including Palmetto Street and Ridgewood Place instead of the commercial route along Wyckoff Street.
Protesters say the buses will now make more turns on narrow corners, making it dangerous for people walking in the area.
The MTA says the new bus route is an effort to address safety concerns and improve traffic flow in the area.
