Thousands of Bronx residents spent the beautiful day Sunday at the Renaissance and Ferragosto Festivals.
The festivals are two of the most popular celebrations in The Bronx.
The annual Ferragosto Festival in Belmont's Little Italy included mouth-watering foods and Italian music. The festival celebrates the harvest of farmers from the old country. The Italian festival marks the 100th anniversary of the Belmont community, which residents say is the real Little Italy.
Over in Fordham, residents enjoyed the sights and sounds of the 17th annual Renaissance Festival that included dancing and food.
