An affordable housing development opened in East Flatbush Tuesday.
Camba Gardens Phase Two is a $100 million facility, located on the campus of Kings County Hospital.
The nonprofit CAMBA officially completed the new housing facility. CAMBA serves more than 45,000 individuals and families each year to connect them with opportunities to enhance their quality of life.
The new development provides health care and social services, including financial management, yoga, social gatherings, nutrition counseling and more.
The space, once-underutilized hospital property, is now providing supportive and affordable housing for about 500 people.

The facility has about 300 units.
More than half of those units are now housing people who were formerly homeless.
