A New York staple is back - Century 21 is officially back open after closing down its store in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The grand reopening of the well-known discount store featured prizes, including hotel stays around the city, gift cards and New York experiences. 

"I stood on that line and I'm glad to be here," said one excited customer. "I'm glad Century 21 is open. It brings back a good thing to the community."

The store that promises designer items at a bargain can be found on Cortlandt Street.
