Charges upgraded for student in Erasmus Hall stabbing
Charges have been upgraded for the teenager accused of stabbing a fellow student at Erasmus Hall High School this week.
According to police, 16-year-old Nelson Chevoy is now charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon after he allegedly stabbed 15-year-old Alfredo Allen multiple times in the head with scissors.
Allen was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he underwent surgery and remains in critical condition.
