The Department of Parks and Recreation will get hit hard if the city approves Mayor Bloomberg's proposed 2013 budget.
Howard Pool, located in Brownsville, is one of the many pools that would remain closed throughout the summer if the budget is approved.
Parents hope the city will provide enough funding by the opening date on June 28.
