The New York City College of Technology unveiled its new academic campus on Thursday – the school's first new construction in three decades.
The $410 million project will hold the college's clinical health care and science programs, as well as a 1,000-seat amphitheater. A gymnasium/wellness center is still in the works.
There has been construction on Jay Street now for 5 1/2 years. The completed building, across from main campus, will be used by the more-than 8,000 students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs.
