The wet weather continues tonight as showers and a few thunderstorms move through the area. Periods of moderate to heavy rain are possible overnight, which could lead to ponding on roadways and reduced visibility for travelers. While severe weather is not expected, a few rumbles of thunder and locally heavier downpours remain possible.
The unsettled pattern lingers into Tuesday, although the day will not be a washout. Expect plenty of clouds along with scattered showers and perhaps a thunderstorm, especially during the morning and early afternoon. Conditions gradually improve later in the day before a stretch of sunshine arrives for the middle of the week.

Wednesday: Sunny and pleasant with highs in the low to mid-80s.
