The West Indian American Day parade kicks off Monday and community members are gearing up for the big celebration.
Eastern Parkway was filled with Caribbean pride as community members made their way to buy last-minute accessories for one of the biggest parade in Brooklyn.
More than a million people are expected to attend the parade, a celebration of Caribbean culture and heritage among dozens of countries.
Many vendors say they are staying up all night so they don't lose their spot.
The parade kicks off at 11 a.m.
