About 400 parking spaces in Brooklyn Heights could be headed for the chopping block. Some parking garages in the area may soon be demolished to make way for condominiums. Motorists say the loss of the garages will only magnify parking problems in the neighborhood.A request by the Brooklyn Heights Community Association to implement a resident parking permit system was denied.
