A Brooklyn girl and her grandfather have been documenting Coney Island from past to present.
Elise Feinstein learned about photography from her grandfather, 87-year-old Abe Feinstein.
Abe Feinstein has lived near Luna Park since 1962 and has been using his camera to document Coney Island for the last 50 years.
Both Elise and Abe Feinstein have a special bond over their love for Coney Island. Their pictures show the area's changes and the revitalization, from the amusement park rides, to famous restaurants like Nathan's, and boardwalk entertainment.
The photos were recently displayed at an exhibit with the Coney Island history project and on the "Sheepshead Bites" blog.
