Police say they have their sights on a person of interest in the case of a missing Brownsville woman who may have been murdered.
Over the past two weeks, police have discovered numerous dismembered body parts in the Long Island towns of Hempstead and Bay Shore. Police have said the remains "likely" belong to Chinelle Latoya Browne, a Brownsville mother who has been missing since earlier this month.
The unidentified person of interest in the case reportedly owns homes in both New York City and Suffolk County. Police say it is someone who they have been keeping an eye on since their investigation began.
The medical examiner's office is still awaiting DNA test results to confirmed that the discovered remains are those of Chinelle Browne.
