A Crown Heights man is angry about the damage he says is being done to his property from ongoing construction to a 19th century landmark home.
Charles Arthur says the construction is encroaching on his property and causing damage. He says a retaining wall that separates the properties was damaged from the construction.
However, construction site owner Amber Maze says the retaining wall is technically his property. He says he's done everything possible to cooperate with his neighbor. Maze is working to restore the landmark home, which is located at 1375 Dean St., to its 19th century glory.
Maze says he has tried to talk with Arthur and so has his construction manager but that hasn't helped.
Construction on the home is expected to be done by June 2017.
