More Brooklyn residents are claiming their housing complex's faulty heating and plumbing is heightening the winter chill.
Residents at the Albany Houses in Crown Heights say they have little to no heat and hot water in their apartments. Some tenants say they must first boil water in order to bathe and are running the stove to heat their homes.
One resident told News 12 Brooklyn he suspects a broken boiler in the building?s basement to be the root of the problem.
The city?s housing authority says the building has heat, but it does not dispute the Albany Houses have a plumbing issue.
