The developers of the old Domino Sugar Refinery in Williamsburg held a meeting Monday for community members.
The developers are preparing for construction, which will eventually lead to the completion of a 55-story building with offices, green space, affordable housing and more.
While redeveloping the site is generally seen as progress, some residents are worried that construction will bring road closures, noise, dust and other problems.
The construction project is expected to take between six and eight years to complete, so developers will hold many more meetings in the future.
