Medical assistance is coming to those still in need after Hurricane Sandy.

Hundreds of volunteers, trained medical professionals and members of the National Guard knocked on apartment doors today to deliver supplies. Visiting all buildings six stories or higher, they mostly provided medications, as well as food and water.

Officials also lined up 50 ambulances in case anyone needed to be taken to a hospital or local clinic.
