A day of wild weather left fallen trees obstructing rail service Monday evening, frustrating commuters on their way home.
The Parks Department reported 64 downed trees in Brooklyn alone. One of them fell over N line subway tracks in Gravesend.
The tree disrupted southbound N train service to Coney Island, but officials said later in the evening that service had been restored.
Some straphangers were rerouted to the D or Q lines.
Officials say workers had to cut up the tree on the tracks before removing it.
