Brooklyn is gearing up for yet another dangerously hot day amid the boroughs third heat wave of the summer.
According to city data, dozens of New Yorkers have already visited the emergency room this week due to heat-related illnesses.
The city recorded 18 visits on Monday and 19 the day prior.
The city says all cooling centers will be open today. Residents are also encouraged to take advantage of public pools and the beach.
The current heat advisory from the National Weather Service will be in place through this evening.
The borough should experience some relief on Thursday when temperatures cool.
