Drivers made a pit stop at one busy Brooklyn gas station as they traveled through the tri-state area.
According to GasBuddy, current holiday gas prices are the cheapest since 2008. On Wednesday evening, the national average sat at about $2.06 a gallon.
The Mobil gas station on the Belt Parkway, just off the Flatbush Avenue exit, was bustling with travelers heading to their Thanksgiving destinations.
Experts say that with lower gas prices, more people are inclined to hit the roads this year.
