With the holiday season fast approaching, companies around the city are searching for new employees.
Individuals lined up inside of Kings Plaza Mall in Brooklyn today to apply for over 430 available positions at the Kings Plaza job fair.
Multiple shops all around the plaza are looking for employees, giving visitors the opportunity to apply to the stores of their choice. Applicants had the opportunity to meet with employers one-on-one from stores like the Cookie House to Victoria Secret. There's even a search underway for this year’s mall Santa Claus.
Job opportunities extended beyond the mall, as the Army, FDNY, and NYPD joined the fair looking to recruit.
The search for employment continued across the city in the Bronx, as the arch of New York hosted a job fair to fill nearly 4,000 jobs in the disabilities field.
