Friends and family said goodbye Friday to a 9-year-old boy who was killed in a hit-and-run accident.
They are hoping the incident that took Akeem Sulaki?s life will lead to safety reforms and are demanding a traffic light and more crossing guards at the scene of the crash on Malcolm X Boulevard and Macon Street.
Akeem was killed after witnesses say a car sped through a red light and hit him near his school.
