Lauren Hewski, of Aberdeen, died last week. Her family has now started a foundation to help young women achieve their dreams.
A GoFundMe page for the Lauren’s Light Foundation has raised more than $70,000 in just one day.

Friends and family will be holding a viewing Wednesday at Shore Point Funeral Home. A mass will be held Friday at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church in Holmdel.
Hewski had just received her associate degree at Brookdale Community College. She was also set to graduate from St. John Vianney High School in June.
