Relatives of a woman who was injured in a Williamsburg hit-and-run accident plan to end her life support.
A driver hit motorcyclist Monica Henk at Kent and Flushing avenues Saturday as she was en route to class. Family members say they have little hope she will recover. "She had no oxygen to the brain for about the first 30 minutes at the scene of the accident," said Dan Henk. The family plans to cremate the tattoo artist and musician and scatter her ashes.
The driver remains at large. Henk's family is offering a $4,000 reward for information leading to the capture of the individual. Police are looking for a black SUV with front-end damage. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
