One Spike Lee fan was rewarded for his fundraising efforts with a private screening of one of the director's movies.
Brooklyn resident Anthony Lolli was visited by Lee Wednesday for a screening of his 1994 film, "Crooklyn."
Lee is releasing a new film that was funded by Kickstarter. As part of his Kickstarter campaign, Lee agreed to provide a private screening for an investor.
Lolli is a local real estate mogul and a huge Spike Lee fan. He got to take part in the screening after donating to his new film.
While Lee is keeping the plot of the movie under wraps, the Kickstarter page describes it as a thriller about human beings who are addicted to blood.
Lolli also invited some aspiring filmmakers to join him at the screening.
Lee's Kickstarter has other rewards for its donors, including tickets to the world premiere of the film in September.
