A father and son are in stable condition after both were stabbed in Brownsville, police say.

The 47-year-old father and the 21-year-old son are both at Brookdale Hospital.

Police say the incident occurred around 2:15 p.m. Friday afternoon on the corner of Pitkin Avenue and Thomas South Boyland Street.

Police say they are searching for two suspects who ran away from the scene eastbound on Pitkin Avenue.
