Three people were taken to the hospital after a fire broke out in Sunset Park Thursday morning, according to the FDNY.

6h agoThree people were taken to the hospital after a fire broke out in Sunset Park Thursday morning, according to the FDNY.
Firefighters responded to 55th Street and Ninth Avenue for a call of smoke coming from the basement around 9 a.m.
Two people suffered serious injuries and were taken to Maimonides Medical Center.
There is no word yet on a cause of the fire.
