The FDNY paid tribute to nearly a dozen of its fallen members during an annual memorial in Manhattan.
Thousands of New York's bravest marched up Riverside Drive to the Fireman's Monument in honor of their comrades who died over this past year, including Brooklyn Fire Lt. Richard Nappi.
Nappi collapsed from exhaustion while battling a warehouse fire in Bushwick back in April. The veteran served as a firefighter for more than a decade and responded to the World Trade Center on Sept. 11. He left behind a wife and two children.
