Crews rushed to the scene of house fire between East 8th and East 9th streets Saturday in Brooklyn.

They arrived at the two-story residence around 1:30 a.m. and quickly worked to contain the flames on the first floor. The fire was under control by 2 a.m.

No injuries have been reported. The cause remains under investigation.
