FDNY responds to 4-alarm fire at Rep. Yvette Clarke's office building in Brooklyn

A fire on Lenox Road in Brooklyn reached four-alarm status Wednesday.
Sources say the fire occurred at Rep. Yvette Clarke's office and those in the building were evacuated.
According to the FDNY, the fire broke out on the roof of 222 Lenox Road.
There is no word yet on what may have caused the flames or if anyone was injured.
News 12 reached out to the Department of Buildings for a statement. The DOB responded saying, "DOB has been requested to respond to the scene to conduct a structural stability inspection of 222 Lenox Road in Brooklyn. DOB inspectors are on scene and their investigation is ongoing."
